INDEPENDENT WORKER.........Nobody knows what he/she does
QUICK THINKING................Offers plausible excuses
CAREFUL THINKER...............Won't make a decision
AGGRESSIVE......................Obnoxious
USES LOGIC ON DIFFICULT JOBS......Gets someone else to do it
EXPRESSES THEMSELVES WELL.............Speaks English
METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL............A nit picker
HAS LEADERSHIP QUALITIES.........Is tall/short with a loud voice
EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD JUDGEMENT..................Lucky
KEEN SENSE OF HUMOUR...........Knows a lot of dirty jokes

If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to.
Not that I'm bored in my triple free lesson.
Not me.
Not at all.

Morning Rooster.
Waking up at 7 o'clock is fun, especially when there's nothing to eat for breakfast.
It's even more fun when you're lying under the covers, wishing you didn't have to get out of bed just yet and your friends (who happen to live in a different time zone than you) text you to tell you that they're "just going to bed now".
To my Icelandic friends I must tell you that to ask me to come to a party or come and cook for you now is wishful thinking.... But thanks for asking.
Biology was fun this morning, I was taught to say "San Lin Fai Lo" but NOT "San Liin Fai Lo" (the difference is Happy New Year / Happy New Nipple) except to Geoffrey but he didn't get the joke. In physics I was asked to look at ANONYMOUS's arm to see whether he was single or not. Let's just say he likes to hit an aeroplane and leave it at that. No no no, I'll stop talking nonsense.... today I've spent half the school day laughing at my classmates and the other half I'll spend laughing at my emails... sounds like a good day to me :)

Changes!
This morning I slept. What a wonderful feeling after an exhausting week.
But I am happy.
This week I had a great time, making springrolls to go with the pizza at my Cantonese teacher's house, finding out that Thomas always says "I have diarrhea" rather than "I am hungry" at school; and eating sushi with my classmates (my funny funny funny classmates)... it's been a nice week. On Friday I went to a party at Justine's house, well it was more just chilling than a party, it was alright and we met Justine's brother. I must say that he's the kind of person I'd like to know. I may or may not be lying. Think about it.
Saturday we had (once again) one of those "introduce Europe to locals" camps, it wasn't that bad but after it I wanted to drop dead because I was so tired. Instead I went with Jimmy to Kowloon Tong and we met Jean, Felix, Nicole and some girls who were also doing the presentation. Jean and Felix scared the hell out of me by running towards me and jumping on to me. SheiBe. In the whole the evening was alright and then I went home....
I took an "exciting" quiz on quizilla.com!
What kind of dancer am I?
You are a Hip hop Dancer. You are the witty chick in the gang, you have a special life style and that makes you different with your own unique way, your friends love you because they know they can trust you. Your ideal man is the guy with a free style not afraid of saying how he feels, and life is never dull with him.
.... that really tells me a lot about my dancing techniques :) So today while I slept my dad went to Ti-I to hear what the teacher had to say about me. I have my report card here and they only count English and PE as my subjects. I can't understand why.... in biology I write many nice letters and in physics I do tarrot.... shouldn't I get grades? The worst grade I've ever gotten in English, 76(/100) but it still says "Subject position = 1/81" so it's not a bad grade. I get a B in PE. Well, I run like a chicken. A B in conduct (how hard do I work in school? Hahahaha). I've been to school for 78 days and away from school for 2,5. I think that's just my trip to Malaysia and then I was sick once. 4 times late. Hehe, that's last term - I've been late 6 times this term so I have a demerit point (and might get another one...). Don't know what "truancy" is but I have none of that. Ohh, it's sciving. See I AM a good student! :) Then it just says I'm on the school magazine editorial board, a hiking club member and subject leader in English (which is crappy, that means I have to collect people's English homework).
First term remarks were nice.... "Sociable. Has a pleasing personality. Shows concern for others".

The Weekend
Before I tell you about the weekend I should introduce a new person to this story (about my life). Meet Jimmy Wong. He's 181 cm, the funniest person I've met in Hong Kong and was an exchange student in the USA. He thinks he can dance better than I can and he's right.
On Friday I went with Shumpei (my Japanese friend who acts a bit like John), Alex andJustine (cute couple) and Dominic (you should know him by now) out for dinner, we ate sushi and had a quiete evening together. Cosy.
On Saturday I found out that one of my best friends in Iceland won the first round in a very big, interschool wuestion-competition on the radio! Well he's in a team but I'm so proud of him that I'm sure I'll blow up (that's an Icelandic saying).
I slept instead of watching the next round in the Sing Tao debating competition. We have to start practising though... I didn't sleep through the AFS meeting. Next weekend I'll be introducing Iceland and Europe to locals, for a change.
After this(really fun) meeting I went with Nicole (Miss America), Jean (who broke up with a girl because she didn't like Jackie Chan and wouldn't watch Rush Hour with him, when the girl started crying he said "Kidding!"), Thorsten (he just had his hair cut), Kanel (what's black and white and walks like a jellyfish?), Sebastian (no comment) and Felix (who plucks his eyebrows) to a mall. We went to KFC which IS interesting. Then I met Jimmy, we looked through pictures since he was an exchange student, ate (he liked my homemade ice cream!), watched Coupling and lauched for 6 hours. He's fantastic. Today I went to watch Ada (my best Chinese friend) and Yuki (who also went exchange to USA) dance!
After that I went with Ambra and Francesca (the Italians I talk to) to Pacifid Coffee to meet Chloe (who used to be an exchange student in Italy) and Jimmy. Me, Chloe and Jimmy then went to the cinema. We saw a film called Alexander. Asides from trying to teach geography and a little history (I go to school, I don't pay to see movies that teach me geography), the movie focused on Alexander the great being bisexual. I found it interesting that he died on the 10th of June (I was born on the 10th of June, just a few years later). I haven't been this bored in the cinema since I saw THE passion of THE Christ. It didn't help that Jimmy went to the wrong movie hall. Smart boy.

Good advice
Now I have four free lessons, I'm very hungry and I was late to school.
It's just as good that the weekend was fantastic, or else I wouldn't be in a good mood. Tomorrow Thomas and I will cook for our Cantonese teacher.
The day after tomorrow I'll go to Dominic's for dinner.
After that it's weekend again! :)

Wonderings
I can't believe it's just about 140 days until I leave Hong Kong.
It seems like such a short time and I can't even speak Chinese... yet.
I don't want to leave Hong Kong.... even if I do miss the people in Iceland, I love living in this big city and being here, I have a whole life here and I don't want to leave so soon.
My family is truly wonderful, the whole family, and my brother and sister... ae :)
School I like, I really really like, even if I'm not studying... I have a good class, an exceptionally good class and know a few marvelous people besides.
Sometimes I wonder whether the people at Ti-I think I'm a loner, I'm sure my Icelandic and English friends would laugh at the mere idea... It's so funny to think that I used to be surprised if I walked home from school alone when I lived in Iceland but now it's like "I have a free lesson" and again and again and again.
Before I came here I didn't think anybody studied so much. I mean sure people study but they all do other things aswell. Not just study study study but in Hong Kong you really have to.
I'm not looking forward to going back to Iceland and starting my school again, my friends are now getting much lower grades than they're used to and I'll be taking it after a year on break. Apart from 2 of my friends who get truly outstanding grades. The guy who gives me the fantastic gifts is getting As in EVERY SINGLE SUBJECT but he's not really a normal person.
The weekend was fabulous though we did say goodbye to Gabe. Gabe is Alexander's friend from Austria who decided to visit him for 2 weeks and live in a hotel. Obviously we had a party in his hotel room :) But this is strange, Alexander's best friend visits him now and his family wants to come just before he goes back. Also Dominic's father, sister and ex-girlfriend will visit him and then later his mother but nobody is coming to visit me! My parents signed an agreement not to visit me and my friends aren't "filthy rich" :( But still, it'll be more fun to come home I guess :)
On my Icelandic blogg I did a review over the year of 2004 that I can't be bothered to translate since now 2005 is well on it's way. 2004 was a fantastic year, I travelled to 8 countries and I love travelling and I came to Hong Kong and I love Hong Kong and I made new friends and I love making new friends.... My friends really made 2004 special, I have such good friends and as my mother put it so well in the Christmas card for Dominic.... "Friendship is a treasure, thanks".
